Federal wage data publishes a state figure however few people it surveyed. It reports $113,810 for door-to-door newspaper and street vendors in Missouri, from a sample that rounds to zero people. Require a state to employ at least 500 people in a job before quoting it, and the answer changes for 389 of 824 occupations.
